WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I RUN OUT OF GAS?

We care about your safety.  We have an out of gas policy which is enforced for your protection.    If your tank has run out completely

• The customer or responsible adult must be home in order for us to delivery gas and perform a leak test. This must be done in order to put the system back into operation. IMPORTANT: IF YOUR TANK IS COMPLETELY OUT OF GAS AND A RESPONSIBLE ADULT IS NOT AT HOME, WE WILL BE UNABLE TO DELIVER THE GAS AND TURN THE SYSTEM BACK ON.

• A qualified gas employee must conduct the leak test and must re-light all pilots and put appliances back into service.

• Since this is a time-consuming process, there will be a charge for this service.

• Automatic Delivery customers whose accounts are in good standing will be exempt for any out of gas service charges.

You may save yourself the added cost and inconvenience of being out of gas by checking your tank regularly, or by requesting automatic delivery

SHOULD I RENT OR PURCHASE MY OWN TANK?

Some customers prefer to rent their tank as opposed to paying for it outright.  There are advantages to each scenario.  If you own your own tank, you do not have to sign a contact for rental, and over a long period of time that can save you money.  However, owning your tank isnt the right financial decision for everyone.  If you decide that owning a tank is the right decision, Oxford Propane will install your tank.

DO YOU OFFER AUTOMATIC DELIVERY?

Yes, we offer both will call and automatic delivery.  Automatic delivery timing will be based on how you use your propane, if you use it for only cooking, vs heat and cooking and other appliances.
